YOGA STYLES


ANUSARANGA FLOW : The combination of two “ master ” : Anusara , the “ master of alignment ” , “ flowing with grace ” (a modern Hatha Yoga) , and Ashtanga , the “master of mindfulness and prana”, focusing more on the mental and spiritual side. This yoga working together with Foundations, Bhandhas and Prana. The typical Anusaranga flow will start by opening of the major joints (shoulders and hips) and stretching-expanding muscles and tendons. Back bending, hip opening postures and arm balance will become gradually easier and more familiar.


SANSKAR BALANCE : Vedic Yoga or Traditional Hatha Yoga from Sanskar Yogashala School in Rishikesh - India, with interesting pran kriyas, pranayama practice and mantra Chanting . Challenging mindfulness during pausing in asanas and the deeply grounding in mind to balance your chakras.


SAMADEE VIBES : A lovely combination of Sanskar Balance and Anusaranga Flow, practice under the flow of happiness and joyful through practitioner levels. It is Hatha Vinyasa in Samadee vibration.


BEACH YOGA / OUTDOOR YOGA : The class will be based on the flow of energy of each class, mixing and combining class with flow and grounding, challenging and gentle, inspire and calm through the class till the end.


MEDITATION / YOGA NIDRA & SOUND : In the class, we start the first 30 minutes with practicing some gentle movement and pranayama, and may have mantra chanting to prepare your mindfulness and awareness to the meditation practice. And in some classes we do the Yoga Nidra as laying down on mat with guided meditation and sound therapy. Then we do the silent sitting mediation about 15-30 minutes, with some guidance at the beginning.


RESTORATIVE / GENTLE / YIN YOGA : The session allow the body to slow down and relax reduce stress, with in a small number of asanas. Each pose is held for longer than in conventional classes, we do about 5 minutes. The long holding of poses is often assisted with props such as folded blankets, blocks, and bolsters to ensure the body is fully supported and so to allow the muscles to relax. We often prepare some gentle movement and pranayama at the beginning.


MOON SALUTATION / MOON FLOW : Moon Salutation, also known as Chandra Namaskar, is a yoga sequence that involves a series of flowing poses connected by breath. It's considered a base pose that can be used to create variations. This session is very good to boost energy levels, focuses on opening the hips and shoulders. Stretches and strengthens the major muscle groups, including the spine, hamstrings, and stomach muscles.


HATHA YOGA / HATHA VINYASA : Hatha yoga is the foundation of all yoga, practice to balance moon (yin) and sun (yang) energy channels in everyone. The word vinyasa comes from Sanskrit and means "linking movement with breath".
The session is about flow sequence and grounding with holding the pose, alignment and foundation.
